Beyonce :Fashion Police at the MET Costume Institute Gala

The MET’s Annual Costume Institute Gala is the fashion event of the year, as far as The Fashion Police is concerned. Forget the Oscar’s, with its safe, “let’s all dress as brides” vibe (Oh, how we long for the days of Celine Dion in a back-to-front suit, or Cher in…any of the things Cher likes to wear), the Costume Gala is where celebrities let their fashion flags fly, and don’t care whether we arrest them for it. This year’s theme was  ”Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations”. Unless you were Beyonce. If you were Beyonce, the theme was, “Yes, I had a baby recently: SO?” And the conversation she will one day have with Blue Ivy Carter about this dress may not be an “impossible” one, but it WILL definitely be an interesting one…
